Summer Day Camp
Day Camp provides a fun summer full of games, arts and crafts, swimming, weekly field trips, and more! This camp is for children entering grades K-6th. We run 4 classrooms: entering K & 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-6th; each having about 25-30 kids, with 3-4 teachers. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for working with children. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: leading crafts, activities, and games; participating in games and activities with the kids; monitoring behavior; being a positive role model; working with others as a team; and communicating with parents/guardians. It's preferred if applicants have prior experience with school-age children.
Hours available: Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm. Various shifts would be scheduled depending on availability. Start Date: May 26, 2026 or be hired-on for Y Kids Club as well, which is Before/After School Child Care; this program is during the school year. Day Camp ends August 7, 2026; however, employment could continue through the school year with the Y Kids Club, if your schedule allows. This position could be summer only, or year-round.
