Noren, Nordling, and Associates is seeking a highly organized client relationship and operations specialist to support our growing accounting firm. This role is primarily virtual and operates in a technology-driven environment. During peak tax season, occasional in-office support may be required to assist with client coordination and administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable using modern technology and cloud-based systems, and able to support both internal team members and client communications in a professional services setting. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, works well independently, and is interested in helping improve and organize internal processes as our firm continues to grow.
Responsibilities
Provide support to partners and staff including scheduling, document organization, and client coordination Serve as a professional point of contact for clients via phone, email, and virtual communication platforms Manage incoming calls and route client inquiries appropriately Maintain accurate digital filing systems and ensure documents are organized and easy to retrieve Assist with calendar management, meeting coordination, and internal administrative processes Support client onboarding for tax and accounting clients, including gathering required documents and coordinating initial setup Assist with document collection and workflow tracking within firm systems Help improve administrative workflows and document processes to support efficient firm operations
Requirements
Prior administrative or office experience with strong organizational skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when handling documents and data Comfort learning and navigating multiple cloud-based systems and new technology tools Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively solve problems Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a primarily virtual environment Experience in accounting, tax, or financial services is beneficial but not required Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
QuickBooks experience TaxDome practice management software UltraTax experience. Experience assisting with client onboarding or administrative processes in an accounting or professional services firm Experience working with secure client portals or digital document management systems.
Additional Information
- This role may include opportunities to assist with identifying client service needs during onboarding or client interactions. While not required, additional compensation may be available for qualified candidates who help facilitate new client engagements.
