Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Plasterer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying plaster and other finishing materials to interior surfaces, transforming raw structures into polished, durable finishes. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from high end custom residential homes to remodels.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of plaster materials.
- Mix and apply plaster and related finishes using hand tools and power tools with precision and efficiency.
- Perform finishing touches to achieve smooth, professional surfaces.
- Travel to and from the Big Sky and surrounding areas daily.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record with access to a reliable mode of transportation.
- As part of the plaster team, you will need to have strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and familiarity with trowels, mixing tools, and scaffolding. Because effective communication with other trades and maintaining a clean, organized workspace helps to minimize delays and ensure a high-quality finish, good communication, problem-solving skills, and reliability are required as well.
- While an understanding of drywall techniques is required, experience with plastering techniques is not, and we can and will train the right person.
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
