Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Paralegal role located in Tustin, CA. The Paralegal will assist attorneys in the preparation and organization of legal documents, conduct legal research, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all records.
Duties & Responsibilities
-Prepare and edit legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence,
ensuring accuracy and compliance with court standards.
-Organize and maintain client files, ensuring all case materials are complete and accessible in legal
case management software.
-Conduct legal research to support case preparation, using tools like Westlaw or LexisNexis as
needed.
-Coordinate scheduling for hearings, depositions, and client meetings, communicating with courts
and opposing counsel.
-Assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing exhibit lists, and compiling case
summaries.
-Track case deadlines and ensure timely filing of court documents in compliance with California
rules.
-Communicate with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and address basic inquiries.
-Summarize medical records and other case documents to assist attorneys in evaluating liability and
damages.
-Support attorneys during court proceedings by managing documents and providing administrative
assistance.
-Ensure compliance with ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Law and expertise in Legal Document Preparation
- Proficiency in Document Review and attention to detail
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and coordination with legal teams
- Ability to conduct thorough Research to support case development
- Experience in legal administrative tasks and case management systems
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certification from an accredited program
- Preferred: Prior experience in personal injury
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
