Job Summary
Nord Country School is looking for a school counselor or school social worker to work 15 hours a week at our small K - 8 charter school. This position delivers counseling programs and services that promote the social and emotional well-being of students according to their developmental needs from early childhood through 8th grade. The counselor provides guidance/support services to students and parents to assist students in making appropriate decisions relative to their attendance, educational, personal, and social development. Supervises students in out-of-classroom activities during the assigned working day; participates in in-service education activities provided by the District and/or in self-selected professional growth activities
Requirements / Qualifications
Credential Copy (Possess a valid California Pupil Services Credential with School Counselor, School Social Worker, or School Psychologist Authorization) Attach the following to your EdJoin application -- Resume -- Cover Letter -- 3 Letters of Recommendation The following are required upon hire: -- Negative TB Test -- DOJ Live Scan clearance
