Position Summary / Job Goals
You will help develop and deliver instruction across the 4th grade elementary curriculum, ensuring high-quality teaching, assessment, and student engagement. The role includes planning and delivering lessons, assignments, and assessments while supporting the academic, emotional, and social development of students.
You will utilize differentiated teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and collaborate across the Elementary School division to ensure student growth and achievement. This role contributes directly to the school’s mission of developing resilient, creative global citizens by maintaining high academic standards and accurate records of student progress and performance.

Qualifications / Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (preferred)
- Valid teaching certification
- Completion of student teaching through a university degree or teacher training/certification program
- Training in effective instructional methods
- At least one year of teaching experience preferred
- Experience teaching elementary-level curriculum (4th grade or similar)
- Knowledge of instructional strategies including scaffolding, guided practice, and differentiated instruction
- Experience using formative and summative assessments to guide instruction
- Ability to plan coherent lesson sequences that build mastery and critical thinking
- Experience teaching lower school World Language curriculum (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and measure student progress
- Understanding of child development and student learning needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage parents as partners in education
- Strong teamwork orientation and collaborative mindset
