Job Description
Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Industrial Store Order Fulfillment / Inventory Control position. The Industrial Store Order Fulfillment / Inventory Control person is responsible for accomplishing all shipping and receiving on a daily basis and to maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion. The primary duty of each employee is to perform their job functions so as to maximize the profits of Norco. Every employee is required to be punctual, efficient, ethical, and professional in conduct and dress and to work as part of a team with a positive attitude with respect for coworkers and customers.
- Prepare all items to be shipped on a daily basis
- Notify appropriate parties of shipments received
- Place all items received for stock into their appropriate locations on a daily basis
- Monitor and maintain accurate and appropriate inventory levels and places orders when necessary
- Generate Purchase Orders and Return Goods Authorization information when necessary
- Coordinate cycle counts and rental inventory in branch location and stockpoints
- Educate staff on inventory accuracy and reduction of human errors
- Maintain the warehouse area in a neat and orderly fashion
- Properly receive all items shipped to the company on a daily basis
- Adhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rules
- Perform other tasks as assigned or needed
- Pay: $20.00 - $21.00/hr Depending on Experience
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when dealing with patients/clients
- Good organizational and customer service skills
- Basic mathematics skills
- Basic knowledge of home care medical products and supplies
- Accurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge or any software applications applicable to the position
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis
- Ability to read written materials, PC screen, etc.
- Good communications skills
- Previous computer experience
- Markets the company in a positive and professional manner
