We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Home Health Director of Nursing to lead our home health services with passion and precision. Responsibilities
- Ensure that the services provided meet the clients' needs and the agency's quality standards. This includes making assessment visits to determine clients' health and support needs.
- Supervise, counsel, evaluate, and discipline field staff. This includes conducting pre-employment interviews, performing annual evaluations, managing shift scheduling, resource allocation, and operational workflows to optimize efficiency across all service areas.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, Medicare requirements, and state licensing standards while maintaining accurate documentation review and medical records management. This involves keeping current records of professional licenses and certifications for all staff.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate client care and communicate any changes in clients' conditions.
- Manage ongoing education and training programs for staff to ensure excellence in patient care. This includes competency evaluations and in-service training.
- Assist in preparing the annual budget for nursing services and monitor financial operations on an ongoing basis.
- Develop and maintain written policies and procedures that govern the nursing department's daily functions, ensuring they align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Licensure: Must hold a current, unencumbered nursing license in California.
Experience: Preferred previous experience in a nursing leadership role, particularly in home health care. Candidates should have a strong understanding of healthcare policies and Medicare regulations, and experience with the Joint Commission.

Pay: $144,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
