What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift position at Nor-Am Logistics South?
Common tasks
- Regularly PM, repair and make adjustments to production line equipment such as conveyors, case erectors, sealers and scales.
- Maintain, repair and replace motors and gearboxes.
- General building maintenance including light electrical.
- Occasional repairs on material handling equipment.
- Working with production leaders to improve efficiency of equipment and lines.
Preferred Experience and Education
- Professional Certifications preferred but not required.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with PLC highly preferred.
- (tig & mig) Welding experience.
