What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance - Forklift Technician position at Nor-Am Cold Storage, Inc?
Starting pay is based on experience!
Common tasks
- Perform repairs on material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Regularly PM, repair and make adjustments to production line equipment such as conveyors, case erectors, sealers and scales.
- Maintain, repair and replace motors and gearboxes.
- General building maintenance including light electrical.
- Working with production leaders to improve efficiency of equipment and lines.
Preferred Experience and Education
- Professional Certifications preferred but not required.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with PLC preferred.
