Upholsterer - Entry level

Noovo is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Upholsterer to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, installing, repairing, and finishing upholstered components used in our camper vans and recreational vehicles.

The ideal candidate has hands-on upholstery experience, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Measure, cut, sew, assemble, and install upholstery materials, including fabric, vinyl, leather, and foam.

Upholster seats, cushions, benches, panels, and other interior components.

Operate industrial sewing machines, staple guns, cutting tools, and other upholstery equipment.

Read and interpret measurements, templates, and production specifications.

Inspect completed work to ensure quality, consistency, and proper fit.

Repair or replace damaged upholstery materials when needed.

Work closely with the production team to meet quality standards and production deadlines.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow company safety procedures and proper equipment-handling practices.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Previous professional upholstery experience preferred.

Experience with automotive, marine, RV, or furniture upholstery is a plus.

Ability to operate industrial sewing machines and upholstery tools.

Knowledge of upholstery materials, cutting techniques, and installation methods.

Ability to read measurements and follow detailed instructions.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.

Ability to use hand tools and upholstery equipment safely.

Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Ability to perform detailed manual tasks requiring hand-eye coordination.
