Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate monthly clinical clerkship schedules for third- and fourth-year medical students, including local and away rotations
- Serve as a primary contact for student questions, schedule changes, time-off requests, documentation, and clerkship-related needs
- Communicate with students, clinical faculty, preceptors, hospital sites, and site coordinators regarding clerkship assignments, onboarding, badging, and credentialing
- Maintain accurate records in systems such as Exxat, Smartsheet, VSLO, Clinician Nexus, MyClinicalExchange, Canvas, and other educational platforms
- Track evaluations, monitor completion, follow up on outstanding items, and assist with grade processing and student performance reporting
- Support preceptor recruitment, onboarding, renewals, and accreditation-related documentation
- Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may substitute for education
- Strong communication, organization, grammar, punctuation, and professional judgment skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new databases, software systems, and educational platforms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, adapt to changing needs, and work independently and collaboratively
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and work occasional early, late, or weekend hours as needed
