Opportunity:

RRT - Pediatric Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week

• Every other weekend coverage required

• Float required to other units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns - staff will only float to units they are qualified for

• Work with pediatric patient age groups across PEDs floors, PICU, ER, and NICU

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in required work settings: ER, Pediatric Critical Care, and PEDs

• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required

• Medication systems used: Pyxis and Omnicell

• Documentation system: EPIC

• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS, ACLS, and RRT (for SC license)

• Skills required include: aerosol set up mask and trach, albuterol, apnea monitor, atrovent, bag and mask, capillary blood gases, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), metered dose inhaler (MDI), mucomyst, trach collar, and xopenex

• Experience with emergency department and pediatric critical care settings required

• Interdisciplinary support provided through respiratory services
