Job Description:
A leading healthcare organization is seeking Licensed Medicare Sales Representatives to work as Outreach Specialists supporting Medicare Open Enrollment. This is a field-based position where you will engage with community members, provide education about Medicare plans, and assist with enrollment across the five boroughs of New York City.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outreach at community events, hospitals, senior centers, and other locations
- Educate prospective members about Medicare plan options
- Assist individuals with the Medicare enrollment process
- Travel to assigned outreach locations across NYC boroughs
- Represent the organization professionally in the community
- Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines and regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of managed care or healthcare experience
- Active NYS Life, Accident & Health Insurance License (required)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Must maintain valid license and continuing education requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual candidates preferred: Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Russian
- Valid NYS Driver’s License is a plus
Benefits information:
Pay Rate: $42 per hour
