State-of-the art Ambulatory Surgery Center seeks a Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing and clinical operations within the surgery center
- Manage and mentor clinical staff, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, and professional development
- Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and executive leadership to optimize patient care and operational workflows
- Oversee clinical quality initiatives, patient safety programs, and risk management processes
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for perioperative services
- Monitor staffing levels, productivity, and departmental budgets
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement activities
- Maintain readiness for accreditation and regulatory surveys
- Foster a positive, patient-focused culture centered on teamwork and accountability
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey
- Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership experience within an OR, ASC, and/or PACU environment
Salary and Benefit Information
- $140,000 - $160,000 10% annual bonus
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and PTO
