Paint Associate

Noonday Hardware is looking for a friendly, dependable Paint Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a creative eye, an appreciation for color, and a passion for helping customers bring their projects to life. Whether assisting customers with paint selections, matching colors, or answering project questions, you’ll play an important role in creating a great shopping experience.

Experience with paint is helpful but not required—we’re willing to train the right person with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting paint colors, stains, and painting supplies
• Mix and tint paint accurately using computerized color-matching systems
• Help customers coordinate colors and finishes for their projects
• Provide excellent customer service and project guidance
• Stock shelves and maintain paint department displays
• Keep the paint area clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Assist with unloading and putting away inventory as needed
• Work as part of a team to support overall store operations

Qualifications

• Positive, friendly, and outgoing personality
• Strong customer service skills
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• An eye for color and design
• Art, interior decorating, design, crafting, or creative experience is a plus
• Ability to learn paint products and color-matching technology
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
