Stocker/Cashier

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Stocker/Cashier to join our liquor store team. This role involves maintaining organized product displays, restocking shelves, and providing excellent customer service at the checkout counter. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, friendly, and able to handle a fast-paced retail environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop retail skills while contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Duties

• Stock shelves with liquor products, ensuring items are properly organized and easily accessible for customers
• Restock inventory as needed, monitoring stock levels and notifying management of low supplies
• Operate the cash register efficiently, processing customer transactions accurately and quickly
• Greet customers warmly, answer questions about products, and provide assistance as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and checkout area
• Follow all safety procedures related to handling alcohol products and operating store equipment
• Ensure compliance with all store policies and legal regulations regarding alcohol sales

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting boxes of inventory
• Attention to detail in stocking shelves and maintaining store appearance
• Good communication skills to assist customers effectively
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of liquor products is a plus but not required; training will be provided

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 37.0 per week
