Position Summary
Noon Management LLC is seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to support routine maintenance and upkeep of company-owned buildings. This position is responsible for assisting with general maintenance, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure all facilities remain safe, functional, and well maintained. The ideal candidate is flexible, safety-conscious, and capable of handling a wide range of maintenance and repair duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Perform routine building maintenance and general repair work.
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs and scheduled upkeep.
- Conduct daily upkeep of building interiors and exteriors.
- Perform light electrical and plumbing work as needed.
- Support roofing maintenance and general facility repairs.
- Assist the Maintenance Director with assigned projects and tasks.
- Complete basic handyman duties and respond to maintenance requests.
- Participate in building site inspections and identify maintenance concerns.
- Maintain proper security and safety of company facilities.
- Follow all safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Adapt to changing responsibilities and complete a wide variety of maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic home improvement and handyman skills.
- Ability to complete general maintenance tasks independently and efficiently.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and take direction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Light plumbing experience.
- Light electrical experience.
- Familiarity with building and site inspections.
Physical Requirements
This position requires regular physical activity, including:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders, kneel, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability to work occasional weekends based on project needs.
