Overview
The Busser is responsible for supporting servers and ensuring a clean, welcoming dining environment. Duties include clearing and resetting tables, refilling water, assisting with cleaning tasks, and helping maintain the flow of service during busy shifts.
Duties
- Clear dirty dishes and glassware from tables promptly
- Reset tables quickly with clean linens, silverware, and glassware
- Refill water and assist with beverage service as needed
- Sweep floors and keep the dining area tidy
- Assist servers by delivering condiments, utensils, or extra items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all of stations
- Help restock supplies (napkins, straws, chopsticks, cups, glassware, etc.)
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Basic communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus
- Available to work on the weekend
