Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food assembly according to recipes and standards
- Handle food ingredients safely, adhering to proper food safety protocols
- Dishwasher
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks, including chopping, mixing, and assembling dishes
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Assist with serving meals during service hours and catering events as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs
Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with cooking, knife skills, meal preparation, and food handling preferred
- Previous work in a restaurant, catering, or food service environment is a plus
