In this role, you’ll oversee large-scale capital projects from concept to completion, serving as the owner’s representative and working closely with clients to bring their vision to life.
The Role
- Manage and oversee all aspects of capital projects across a diverse portfolio – schools, municipal buildings, and commercial facilities
- Serve as owner’s rep, building strong relationships with clients across project sites
- Communicate project updates clearly to clients, leadership, and internal teams
- Prepare for and participate in monthly project review meetings
- Own project financials – budgeting, forecasting, revenue, cash flow, and subcontractor billings
- Oversee contracts, project plans, purchase orders, and extra work authorizations
- Manage closeout packages and other critical project documentation
- Implement project controls, quality management processes, and health & safety plans
- Support business development by preparing proposals and identifying growth opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience/licensure)
- 10 years of industry experience
- A diverse project background – experience across different project types and sectors, ideally from a consulting environment
- Strong client relationship management skills and the ability to interpret contract requirements
- Proven ability to manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, or Deltek Vision a plus
