What You’ll Be Doing
- Grantmaking Operations & Administration: Provide accurate administrative support for grantmaking activities, including processing grant payments, preparing board materials, maintaining records, drafting correspondence, and documenting meeting minutes.
- Grantmaking Systems & Technical Support: Utilize grantmaking software to process applications and reports, maintain standardized templates, and provide technical assistance to clients and stakeholders.
- Nonprofit & Client Relations: Serve as the primary contact for nonprofit organizations, responding to inquiries, sharing grant history information, communicating deadlines, and supporting funding-related questions.
- Philanthropic, Research & Cross-Functional Support: Deliver exceptional customer service to philanthropic partners, assist with nonprofit research projects, coordinate administrative tasks, and provide backup support to the Grantmaking Services team and other departments as needed.
- 2 years of experience in admin, nonprofit, or support roles
- A strong attention to detail (you catch the little things others might miss!)
- Great communication and a customer-first mindset
- Confidence navigating systems like Microsoft Office (especially Word & Excel); CRM or grant system experience is a plus
- A proactive, team-oriented approach—you like to jump in and help where needed
