Front Counter Manager

Front End Manager – Nonna Bella’s Pizzeria & Restaurant

Nonna Bella’s is looking for an experienced, dependable, and customer-focused Front End Manager to lead daily front-of-house operations at our North Babylon location. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can manage a team, maintain excellent service standards, and keep the restaurant running smoothly during busy shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily front-of-house operations and oversee all customer service areas
• Supervise, train, schedule, and support counter staff, servers, cashiers, and delivery personnel
• Ensure every guest receives friendly, professional, and efficient service
• Handle customer questions, concerns, and order issues professionally
• Monitor dine-in, takeout, delivery, catering, and online orders
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain accurate orders and timely service
• Manage opening and closing procedures
• Handle cash drawers, deposits, refunds, discounts, and end-of-day reporting
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked front-of-house area
• Help manage inventory for beverages, packaging, paper goods, and front-end supplies
• Enforce company policies, food safety standards, and workplace procedures
• Assist with private events, catering orders, and large customer orders
• Step in wherever needed during busy periods

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience required
• Pizzeria, fast-casual, or high-volume restaurant experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Comfortable managing employees and resolving workplace issues
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, online ordering, and delivery platforms
• Able to remain organized and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Must be dependable, punctual, and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light lifting when necessary

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
