What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Associate position at Nongshim America, Inc.?
Responsibilities
- Working with other members of the accounting department to compile, analyze, and report accounting data
- Account Receivables / Account Payables
- Monthly Closing
- Preparing weekly, monthly, and yearly financial reports to senior leadership and Korea headquarters
- Using bookkeeping software, SAP, and entering information into company files or databases, ensuring that all financial records are complete and accurate
- Ensuring that company bills are paid
- Implementing and enforcing financial and inventory controls
- Staying current on company, local, state, and federal financial regulations, and policies
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or Equivalent Experience Preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint required
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States
- 0~3 years’ experience in the Accounting field preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English required; Korean language skills preferred
