Co-Founder Opportunity | Structural Engineer | Prefabricated Truss & Framing Systems

I am looking for a licensed Structural Engineer who is interested in becoming a co-founder and business partner in a new prefabricated light gauge steel truss and framing company.

I currently own a FrameCAD roll-forming machine and am looking for the right person to help build a company focused on designing, engineering, and manufacturing light gauge steel trusses, wall panels, floor systems, and framing solutions for residential and commercial construction.

This is not a traditional employment opportunity. I am seeking someone who wants to help build a company from the ground up and share in its long-term growth and success.

The goal is to create a modern manufacturing business that combines engineering, automated production, and prefabrication to provide builders with faster, more efficient, and more cost-effective construction solutions.

As a co-founder, you would play a key role in:

• Structural design and engineering of light gauge steel systems.
• Reviewing and approving calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Developing standardized truss and framing packages.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable building codes and engineering standards.
• Working with customers, builders, architects, and developers.
• Establishing engineering workflows and quality control procedures.
• Helping develop business strategy, operations, and growth plans.

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain licensure.
• Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with structural analysis and design.
• Familiarity with light gauge steel, truss design, prefabrication, or modular construction is preferred.
• Experience with CAD and BIM software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in business ownership.
