We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as multimeters.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on air conditioning units, boilers, and other mechanical equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately execute system modifications or upgrades.
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems and refrigeration units to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize welding skills for equipment repair or fabrication tasks when necessary.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports for all completed tasks.
- Support property maintenance efforts by performing appliance repairs, field service tasks, and general mechanical troubleshooting as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician or in a similar construction or property maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems, refrigeration, boilers, and appliance repair.
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, HVAC design principles, and electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters.
- Field service experience working on air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, plumbing systems, and equipment repair projects.
- Ability to operate a
driver vehicle safely for transportation between job sites. - Knowledge of welding techniques applicable to equipment fabrication or repair tasks.
- Experience working with mechanical components such as pumps, valves, motors, and control systems in commercial or industrial settings is highly desirable.
