Job Title: NPO Centric (Nonprofit Centric) Program Manager -

Program Development and Engagement Coordinator

The NPO Centric Program Development and Engagement Manager is responsible for the administration and development of resources to strengthen nonprofits. The person will report directly to the director of NPO Centric at the Regional Access Project Foundation.

Abilities

  • Performs well in a team environment.
  • Requires excellent writing and communication skills (business emails, marketing eblasts, fliers, reports, newsletters, grant applications, misc.) and public speaking skills. Must submit two writing samples as part of application process.
  • Must be tech savvy and have experience in Microsoft Suite
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Kartra, Mailchimp, Constant Contact)
  • Requires an independent thinker with strong confidence in own abilities and demonstrates good judgement in making decisions.
  • Requires excellent communication skills, written, listening and verbal.
  • Feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, flexible to change and working cooperatively with others.
  • Establishes and maintains effective nonprofit community engagement and membership within the mission, vision, and values of NPO Centric and the Regional Access Project Foundation.
  • Understand Board Governance.
  • Skilled in: Project Management, Event Planning, and Facilitation of meetings.
  • Must work well independently and be a self-starter

Essential Functions

The NPO Centric Program Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serves as a liaison to nonprofit community. Knowledgeable in nonprofit issues. Conducts outreach to nonprofits to bring awareness of available internal and external resources.
  • Create and manage project plans, timelines, and resources to meet goals and deadlines
  • Helps to develop and share content (trainings, E-blasts, and social media posts) with nonprofit partners: nonprofit clients, consultants, funders, Chambers of Commerce, etc.
  • Ability to strategize and think analytically
  • Accept and implement constructive feedback with professionalism
  • Assess campaign takeaways and convert into engaging marketing content
  • Detail oriented and performs proofreading/copywriter functions on created content.
  • Coordinates all aspects of trainings and workshops including ordering supplies, designing public relations materials, recruitment, deciding on topics and speakers.
  • Increase NPO Centric membership sales.
  • Develop and maintain a Consultant Directory for professional services; negotiate fees and services.
  • Project Management: Assist in the development of workshops and training calendar.
  • Perform administrative duties including: Answering phone calls, utilizing Office 365 to schedule/coordinate meetings with clients, board members, vendors and staff.
  • Event Planner: Plan, and manage special events (workshops, conferences, meetings).
  • Maintain records, files, and pertinent documents on Office 365 – Shared Drive.
  • Utilize our Grants Database system, Foundant, to access and enter data.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
  • Presentation skill including PowerPoint and Canva
  • Help plan events and outreach opportunities
  • Strong working knowledge with various software applications: Kartra, Canva, Constant contact, social media and marketing platforms (Survey Monkey, Google Suite, Facebook Metabusiness and Jotform) and enjoys learning new programs.
  • Provide support (create agendas, Minutes, reports) to the NPO Centric Advisory Committee.
  • Aids in the development and implementation of the annual NPO Centric budget.
  • Develop and implement evaluation methods/tools for consulting services.
  • Contribute/Create to quarterly RAP and monthly NPO Centric newsletters, and other PR materials and generate e-blast communications.
  • Be mindful of NPO Centric and RAP Foundation branding guidelines and implement projects and marketing assets accordingly
  • Identify, research and evaluate the alignment of potential funders with NPO Centric/RAP mission and objectives. Complete Letters of Intent, Grant Applications for NPO Centric.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Educational / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Require a minimum of three years working with nonprofits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
