Job Title: General Laborer/Heat Treat Operator Pay: $18 per hour

Non-Ferrous Heat Treat is an aluminum heat treating facility located in Maple Heights, OH. At Non-Ferrous we treat aluminum to strengthen or soften the castings, forgings, extrusions, and stampings to each customer’s request. Non-Ferrous is a small company with only 4 employees.
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to help out around the shop.
Schedule:
Fixed 3rd Shift - 3 13.5 hour shifts. Monday- Thursday. 6PM - 7:30AM
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Stack aluminum parts to prepare for heat treatment
- Operate overhead hoist to load and unload aluminum castings from furnaces as scheduled
- Use a forklift to load/unload trucks and unload parts from the oven as scheduled
- Ensure the parts are being removed from furnaces at the correct times
- Straighten castings
- Maintain building grounds: cutting grass, light landscaping, etc
- Perform various maintenance/shop improvement tasks
- Carefully maintain and follow the schedule of each furnace
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Attention to detail: double checks work after task completion.
- Able to lift upwards of 50 lbs.
- Ability to complete labor intensive tasks
- Ability to work alone for a majority of your shift.
