What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Transportation Driver position at NON-EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION?
Non-emergency transportation company looking for DEPENDABLE full-time drivers.
Duties:
- Safely operate a vehicles
- Transport passengers to designated locations in a timely manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle
- Assist passengers with boarding and unloading as needed
- Communicate effectively with passengers and address any concerns or questions
- Follow designated routes or schedules as provided by dispatcher
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transportation
- Handle any necessary paperwork or documentation related to the transport
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record -Able to pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Previous experience in medical transportation, shuttle driving, paratransit, school bus driving, delivery driver, or similar roles preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with others effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively
- Flexibility in working hours and willingness to work weekends or evenings as needed
