Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, part-time In-Home Caregiver to provide hands-on essential support for my wife.
Currently part-time Fridays and Saturdays, occasional fill-in or overnights possible.
Sweet, creative wheelchair bound 68 year old lady with MS. Responsiblities include assistance with bathing, dressing, medications, daily living needs and cleaning. We have a ceiling lift, handicap accessible shower, shower buddy chair and other assistive technology. No experience needed in home care except for a caring heart, patience and the desire to learn. Training provided.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
- Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in health or behavior to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Support clients with meal preparation and medication reminders as needed.
- Uphold HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in patient care or as a caregiver is preferred but not required.
- A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing high-quality care is required.
