Role Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Structured Equity Derivatives- Institutional Salesperson with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team at Nomura. As part of our equity derivatives sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by offering equity derivatives to institutional clients, including asset managers, insurers, pension funds, and ETF Managers. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, market knowledge, and a passion for financial markets, particularly equity derivatives.
Job Duties:
- Work closely with senior salespeople to support and develop relationships with institutional clients,
- Provide clients with customized solutions and market insights, understanding their needs and risk profiles
- Execute sales strategies to increase structure equity derivatives transactions, meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Assist in structuring and pricing derivative products, coordinating with trading and structuring teams
- Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and investment opportunities in equity derivatives and structured products
- Prepare sales presentations, pitch materials, and performance reports for clients
- Collaborate with internal teams such as trading, risk management, legal, and compliance to ensure smooth transaction execution and adherence to regulatory guidelines
Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in equity derivatives sales, structured products, or a related field
- Strong understanding of equity markets and derivative instruments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and present complex ideas clearly
- Analytical mindset with strong quantitative skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with financial software like Bloomberg
- Experience working with institutional clients
