Role Description
In this full-time, on-site role you will assemble, test, and maintain precision seismic monitoring equipment, coordinate sales and purchase orders, perform quality control inspections, and keep materials and documentation flowing efficiently across the shop floor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manufacture, assemble, and calibrate seismographs to company specifications
- Troubleshoot, repair, or replace defective electronic components
- Perform testing and quality control on completed units
- Document defects, repairs, and testing results in work orders or company systems
- Enter and maintain inventory, production, and shipment data in computer systems
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and report discrepancies
- Assist with parts inventory, organization, and inventory record accuracy
- Communicate with purchasing and vendors regarding shipment or inventory issues
- Perform other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification a plus
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, electronics, or technical environment preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Experience with data entry, inventory tracking, or purchase order processing preferred
- Ability to recognize electronic system components from standard design schematics
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Ability to perform testing independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to support team goals and contribute ideas and improvements
