Nomax is a privately held and fast-growing manufacturer of pharmaceuticals, medical devices and dietary supplements located in south St. Louis County. Founded in 1982, Nomax primarily focuses on the manufacture of oral solid dosage products and has become one of the leading manufacturers of effervescent products in the United States.
RESPONSIBILITIES and PURPOSE:
Nomax is looking for a Production Packer for the 2nd shift. The Production Packer works within a manufacturing setting and is responsible for completion of our final stage in the production process. The work schedule for 1st shift is Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and for 2nd shift is Monday through Thursday from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM. For 1st shift you will earn $16.00 an hour and for 2nd shift you will earn $16.00 an hour plus $1.50 for shift differential and paid bi-weekly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load and unload items from machines and conveyors.
- Inspects final products for deficiencies and out-of-specification for packing.
- Place products in final packaging.
- Assists with machine and room cleanliness.
- Accurately and legibly documents work in the batch record as it is performed.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines including but not limited to gowning, hygiene standards, materials control, labeling and line clearances.
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift and be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Production facility is temperature controlled.
Qualifications:
- High level of attention to detail, being careful about details in the process and thorough in completing work tasks.
- Must be dependable, reliable, responsible with fulfilling obligations.
- Being pleasant and working in cooperation with others on your team.
Education and Experience
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 Year of Manufacturing Experience Preferred
