Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas according to established recipes and standards.
- Handle food preparation and food safety procedures to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including workstations, dining areas, and equipment.
- Support food service operations by assisting in food prep, serving pastries or food items, and ensuring food industry standards are upheld.
Skills
- Proven barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills to create a friendly and engaging environment for guests.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in a café or food industry setting.
- Effective serving skills combined with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
