Dual Store Manager | Women’s Fashion Boutique
Location: Downtown Truckee, CA
Full-Time | 5 Days a Week | 10 AM – 6 PM
Nomad Boutique and AFTR HRS are looking for a strong, experienced retail leader to oversee both of our Downtown Truckee locations.
AFTR HRS is our newest elevated concept, located next to Drink Coffee Do Stuff and opening mid May. This will be a more elevated, higher-end store featuring contemporary brands such as For Love & Lemons, Boy’s Lie, Dolce Vita, Matisse, The Mayfair Group, Beyond Yoga, and more.
This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, fashion-driven environment and takes pride in running a beautiful, high-performing store.
This role is highly customer-facing and is ideal for someone who is naturally friendly, outgoing, and genuinely enjoys interacting with people.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of both stores
- Work a full 5-day schedule split between both stores, typically 3 days at one location and 2 days at the other, depending on business needs
- Work on the sales floor daily, independently during slower seasons and alongside a team during busy periods
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually elevated store environment at all times
- Merchandise both stores and keep displays fresh, on-brand, and trend-forward
- Greet every customer and create a welcoming, memorable shopping experience
- Train and onboard new employees and help develop the team
- Manage scheduling and support staff across both locations
- Drive sales and lead by example on the floor
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous retail management experience
- Naturally friendly, approachable, and confident interacting with customers
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Must have a strong interest in fashion and stay up to date on current trends
- Flexible and able to adapt between two store environments as needed
- Confident working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with POS systems and social media
This role works between both stores and requires someone who can confidently manage multiple spaces while keeping everything running seamlessly.
