The Q&FS Coordinator-PCQI manages the development, implementation and maintenance of the Quality and Food Safety Standards as well as Mars/Royal Canin standards as they apply to the factory site. This role ensures conformances including ISO/FSSC 22000, FSMA and Mars Standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for HACCP Plan and PRP verification
• Attends FST Meeting and is the FST Leader backup
• Site Q&FS Training – Conducts training and updates trainings (i.e. CCP, GMP, HACCP, etc.)
• CAPA Program –
• Trains and supports programs
• Tracks and governs CAPAs
• CAPA site admin
• Inputs to Management Review
• Audits
• CAPAs
• Metrics
• PRIMP investigations assigned
• Standard compliance
• Update Procedures
• Train and implement
• Lead T5s
• Provide updates for T6
• Food Defense Program
• Update Plan
• Conduct security assessment
• Actions
• Nexus Site Admin
• Corrective Actions, as assigned
• PH&R Officer backup
• PCQI
• GMP Audit Program
• Lead and Mange Actions
• Document Control Program Owner
• Organizes Internal/External Audits and all necessary coordination and communications
• Governance of Validation and Verification activities at the site.
• Provide input along with making quality decisions for non-compliant products in accordance with applicable procedures and specifications.
• Support the continuous improvement of Mars QMS system and other mandatory systems.
• Making recommendations regarding improvement and sustainability of the quality and food safety culture.
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications

• College Diploma /University degree in science or equivalent level of experience.
• Knowledge of Quality & Food Safety Systems, along with Analytical and problem-Solving Skills.
• 3–5 years of work experience in a Food manufacturing environment.
• Experienced in auditing, quality systems, and laboratory techniques
• Knowledge of computers and MS office along with knowledge of Quality and Food Safety Systems.
• High interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and spreadsheet tools
