Love all things home decor? Our family-run business is seeking a few motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associates to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with the ability to engage customers and promote our home goods effectively. As a Sales Associate, your main role is to create a positive shopping experience for our customers, helping them to pick out holiday goods and gifts.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain stock levels by replacing merchandise on the sales floor
- Showcase product features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their preferences and recommend suitable products
- Assist in achieving sales goals through effective selling techniques and upselling strategies
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Professional and punctual demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory
- Experience with Square is a plus
- A proactive approach to learning about products
