Position Overview:As NOLA Education continues to grow its partnerships with schools and districts, we are seeking a Curriculum Design Specialist to serve as the central instructional design lead for our curriculum products. This role ensures that all academic materials are standards-aligned, instructionally rigorous, implementation-ready, and scalable across districts and state contexts. This role bridges Academy Design, Forecasting, Educational Support, and Sales to ensure seamless execution from product development through classroom implementation. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in education, Curriculum & Instruction, Instructional Design, or a related field (Master’s preferred)3–5 years of experience in curriculum design, instructional coaching, or academic program developmentDeep understanding of state and national education standardsProven experience developing or supporting curriculum frameworksStrong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive curriculum improvementExceptional attention to detail, organization, and documentationStrong collaboration and communication skills across multiple departmentsResponsibilities:Collaborate with school districts to design curriculum tailored to the needs of their students.Lead the design and alignment of all curriculum materials to state and national standards.Build and maintain initial and ongoing pacing guides for all curriculum programs.Conduct regular curriculum standard audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and fidelity.Partner with Forecasting and Inventory teams to align production and purchasing with curriculum needs, including third-party licensing.Collaborate with Educational Support and Sales teams to ensure curriculum expectations align with district-facing communication and implementation realities.Response to district needs through proactive content alignment.
