Nokia of America Corporation, Unit Design Validation Engineer (Multiple Positions), Dallas, TX.
Support the development of next generation 5G network radios and cellular base stations.
Responsible for RF TRX (Radio Frequency Transceiver) key parameters, requirement analysis, simulation and verification.
Perform RF TRX technology evaluation, sub-circuit designing and simulation of TX, RX, Clock etc. in 5G NR (New Radio) products.
Responsible for RF TRX design solution implementation and application.
Perform RF TRX board level debug and prototype testing with the system integration team. Implement schematic design and PCB (Print Circuit Board) layout review.
Responsible for testing specification and planning.
Provide technical support and perform failure analysis for manufacturing and field issues.
Collaborate with the software team to verify the RF transceiver function.
Use tools to support analytical simulation.
Responsible for RF performance specifications and test methodology.
Support RF circuit designing and signal processing. #LI-DNI
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive related work experience.
Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.
Must have 3 years of experience working with RF or microwave technology;
Must have 3 years of experience in RF circuit design and signal processing;
Must have 3 years of experience using digital modulation and demodulation techniques to optimize digital signal transmission;
Must have 3 years of experience with the engineering design and development process, including writing technique specifications, test plans, test procedures, test reports, and design
reports; and
Must have 1 year of experience using oscilloscopes, power meters, and spectrum analyzers or logic analyzers.
International travel required up to 5%.
