Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software test issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to drive improvements in test yield and reduce test cycle times.
- Develop comprehensive documentation to support testing processes and findings.
- Create and provide software tools for technicians focused on fault isolation of optical and electrical problems.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels, ensuring transparency and professional interactions.
- Proactively balance production demands with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability.
- Utilize statistical analysis techniques, including Gauge R&R and SPC, to drive process improvements.
- Review and enhance existing code to optimize testing equipment and interface for better performance and quality.
You have:
- BS Degree or higher in science or engineering (Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.)
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of analog and digital electronics, including reading electrical schematics
- Proficiency in statistical analysis (Gauge R&R and SPC) and familiarity with SQL
It would be nice if you also had:
- 5 years of experience in semiconductor or opto-electronic manufacturing
- Experience with international contract manufacturers in a support role
- Interest or experience in optical test and measurement equipment
- Ability to read and improve high-level Object-Oriented languages (Java, C#, VB.NET)
