Senior AWS & DevOps Engineer – Build and Scale the Core of a New Global Network
Location: Dallas, TX (100% On-Site)

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior AWS & DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in cloud architecture, Kubernetes, automation, and hybrid infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting Noetic’s mission-critical environments across AWS and on-premise systems.
You will be the primary owner of production reliability, Kubernetes engineering, DevOps pipelines, hybrid networking, and security-aligned infrastructure design.
What You’ll Do
AWS Cloud, DevOps & Kubernetes Leadership
- Architect, deploy, and maintain highly available AWS infrastructure
- Lead Kubernetes engineering, deployment automation, and cluster reliability
- Oversee monitoring, logging, observability, and performance optimization
- Support security compliance initiatives and audit readiness
- Own VPC, routing, zero-trust networking, and infrastructure security designs
- Architect scalable, self-healing systems with automated failover
Full-Stack Infrastructure (Cloud & On-Prem)
- Deploy and support full application stacks, databases, and services
- Define CI/CD automation and release management strategies
- Drive platform containerization using Docker and related tooling
DevOps & Automation Excellence
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)
- Integrate source control, automation, security scanning, and deployment workflows
- Design monitoring, auto-healing, backups, and disaster recovery systems
Hybrid & On-Prem Architecture
- Lead automation, deployment, and maintenance of bare-metal Kubernetes clusters
- Engineer secure hybrid network topologies bridging cloud and physical systems
Security & Compliance
- Design IAM, secrets management, and secure access policies
- Support SOC2, ISO, and related compliance frameworks
What You Bring
Core Technical Expertise
- 8 years of hands-on AWS and on-prem infrastructure engineering
- Deep experience with EC2, VPC, IAM, routing, and security controls
- Advanced Kubernetes automation (cloud on-prem, VMs and bare metal)
- Experience with PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, Redis
- Strong proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines
- Expert-level Linux systems engineering and networking
Soft Skills
- Strong communicator who can explain complex systems with clarity
- Highly accountable and reliable in fast-moving environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities inside a startup culture
- Collaborative, supportive, and easy to work with
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or related discipline.
Preferred Certifications
- AWS Solutions Architect
- AWS DevOps Engineer
- CKA, CKAD, CKS
Preferred Background
- Experience in large enterprise environments
- Exposure to high-scale or compliance-driven platforms
