Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Kitchen Cook to join our seafood and Asian restaurant team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, works well under pressure, and can prepare high-quality dishes while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare and cook seafood, fried foods, noodles, rice dishes, sauces, and Asian-inspired meals
Season, marinate, and portion ingredients according to restaurant recipes
Operate kitchen equipment including fryers, grills, woks, and steamers
Ensure food is prepared quickly, accurately, and presented properly
Monitor food quality and freshness throughout each shift
Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and stocked
Follow health, sanitation, and safety regulations at all times
Assist with inventory and food prep for upcoming shifts
Work closely with cashiers and other kitchen staff to complete orders efficiently
Requirements
Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred
Knowledge of seafood preparation and Asian cooking styles is a plus
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
