Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently while adhering to sanitation standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning items
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including counters, sinks, and prep areas
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting dining areas as needed
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use
- Follow food safety guidelines for handling and storing ingredients
- Assist with catering setups and banquet service when required
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food handling and sanitation procedures is advantageous
- Experience with food preparation or culinary tasks such as cooking or plating is a plus
- Previous roles involving bussing or supporting banquet events can be beneficial
