Job Summary:
The Program Coordinator supports the planning, organization, and coordination of daily operations within the Community Supports and Supported Employment Departments. This position assists with scheduling, documentation, communication, and administrative tasks to ensure programs run efficiently, stay within budget, and align with agency goals. The Program Coordinator works closely with the Program Manager and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to facilitate smooth operations and consistent service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in alignment with service authorizations and in compliance with staff availability and qualifications.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager on staff development initiatives, including employee and individual training.
- Respond to staff call-ins and questions during business hours, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating daily activities within the Community Supports Department.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all individuals’ personal and program information.
- Communicate regularly with family members, guardians, and DSPs regarding day-to-day operations and individuals’ needs.
- Prepare and submit required reports in accordance with contractual, funding, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain professional and effective communication with other agency departments and stakeholders to ensure collaboration and consistency.
- Provide shift coverage in the absence of DSPs or when necessary.
- Train to assume Program Manager responsibilities during their absence or as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support program operations and agency goals.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated supervisory and leadership abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks appropriately.
- Must maintain an active Class E license.
- Must maintain L1MA Certification.
- Must maintain CPR/First Aid Certification
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
