What are the responsibilities and job description for the Actuarial Intern position at NODAK INSURANCE COMPANY?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Downloads and catalogs data from external and internal sources
- Analyzes data and reports for trends and issues
- Runs and distributes recurring reports
- Modifies existing reports, as directed
- Assists in the development of new reports and databases
- Creates Ad Hoc reports as directed
- Successful completion of two (2) years in a four-year institution.
- Knowledge of MS Excel is required.
- Superior critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Extensive knowledge of mathematical concepts.
- Highly creative and motivated to succeed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding organization and time management skills.
- Experience with Tableau is a plus.
- Property Casualty insurance experience is a plus.
Employee Status: Temporary
Hours per week: 40
Work Schedule: Primarily standard work week hours with some flexibility.
Anticipated Start Date: May 2027
