NoCo Tutoring and Enrichment LLC is a small, locally owned business in Fort Collins, CO. We are a positive and professional group of educators working together to provide quality private tutoring to students in Northern Colorado.
Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, academic tutor with a teaching background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a desire to help students reach their full potential. Our program belief is "connection before curriculum" and we strive to build a team based on this concept of relationship-based teaching. We support students in all grade levels and areas of need in northern Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Educate students in various subjects and topics
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans
- Assist students with homework, assignments, and exam preparation
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate with families to share progress, determine scheduling, and build collaborative student plans
- Follow outlined policies and procedures of NoCo Tutoring & Enrichment
Skills
- Experience working with children in education settings
- Strong student connection skills
- Knowledge of curriculum development principles
- Familiarity with special education practices/Science of Reading approaches is a plus
- Background in education
Qualifications
- Required qualifications include experience in tutoring and/or classroom teaching
- Preferred qualifications consist of classroom management skills and experience working with children.
- Beneficial skills include knowledge of learning technology and special education/Science of Reading approaches.
- Current or prior certification in education or related field required
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 per hour
