Job Summary
As a Certified Lifeguard for the summer of 2026, you will help protect the well-being of all pool guests while providing friendly and attentive customer service. Under the direction of the Pool Manager, your skills in first aid, CPR, and swimming will support emergency response efforts and promote a safe, enjoyable pool environment.
- Maintain constant supervision of all pool and deck areas to promote guest safety and ensure adherence to facility rules
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations, administering first aid and CPR when required
- Perform routine pool maintenance, including cleaning, chemical monitoring, and water quality testing to uphold safety standards
- Provide courteous assistance to guests, support pool entry and exit, answer questions, and deliver excellent customer service
- Complete daily cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming pool surfaces, and maintaining surrounding areas to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including equipment setup, breakdown, and securing the facility after operating hours
- Safely lift, move, and handle pool equipment and supplies as needed for setup and maintenance operations
Qualifications
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
