The Overnight Venue Operations Crew Member is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the facility after events. Responsibilities
Event Breakdown
- Break down all wedding and event setups after events conclude
- Remove all trash from the wedding space and surrounding areas
- Break down tables, chairs, bars, staging, and other rental equipment
- Return all equipment to designated storage areas
- Ensure storage areas remain organized and accessible
- Inspect furniture and equipment for damage or cleanliness before storage
- Assist with basic setup for upcoming weddings or events when scheduled
- Place tables, chairs, and furniture according to event layouts
- Stage equipment and supplies needed for the next day's event team
- Verify all furniture and equipment is clean and ready for use
- Clean restrooms thoroughly including sinks, toilets. floors, and trash removal
- Sweep, mop, and sanitize event spaces, hallways, patios, and entrances
- Clean bar areas, kitchens, and service spaces
- Remove trash from all facility trash cans and dispose of properly
- Clean and sanitize high touch areas including counters, doors, and railings
- Ensure the venue is fully reset and presentable by the morning
- Restock restroom supplies including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Inspect the facility for damage, maintenance needs, or safety concerns
- Report issues to management through daily logs or communication channels
- Ensure all event areas meet cleanliness and organization standards before leaving the facility
- Support large events with additional setup or breakdown tasks as needed
- Maintain proper care and storage of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Assist with seasonal setup projects such as holiday decorations or large installations
- Follow all safety procedures and cleaning protocols
- Ability to work overnight hours and weekends
- Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and equipment up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in event setup, facilities cleaning, or venue operations preferred but not required
- Must be self motivated and take pride in your work
- Follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
