Job Title: Tier 2 / Tier 3 IT Support Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Tier 2 / Tier 3 IT Support Technician to provide advanced technical support for our clients and assist with network, systems, and on-site infrastructure projects. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Technicians must be willing to travel to Stuart, FL three days per week for two weeks out of each month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for client systems and infrastructure
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and networking issues
- Perform on-site installations, upgrades, and maintenance of IT systems
- Escalate and collaborate with team members on advanced technical issues when necessary
- Document support requests, solutions, and procedures in the PSA/CRM system
- Support both remote and on-site client environments
General Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues
- Ability to manage multiple support tickets and projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel to Stuart, FL as required (3 days per week, 2 weeks per month)
Technical Experience (Preferred):
- Strong experience with networks and networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching)
- Experience with Microsoft desktop and server operating systems
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365 / Microsoft 365 administration
- Experience with firewall configuration and network security best practices
- Experience with digital and analog phone systems
- Experience with CRM/PSA platforms and ticketing systems
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
Job Type: Full-time (Part-time available)
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
