Job Overview
We are a local, independent PC repair shop looking for a reliable, self-motivated Computer Repair Technician & Customer Service representative. This includes creating tickets from phone calls and taking care of walk in customers helpdesk issues. We also take care of break-fix workbench repair jobs.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Front Counter & Phones: Greet walk-in customers, answer phone inquiries, intake devices, and clearly explain repair options and timelines.
- Ticketing & Documentation: Log incoming jobs into our ticketing system, keep detailed notes on repairs, and update customers on their order status.
- PC Diagnostics & Repair: Perform hardware and software repair on desktop and laptop computers (primarily Windows and macOS), including component replacement, virus removal, OS reinstalls, and data recovery.
- Customer Communication: Explain technical issues in plain, non-technical language and provide clear repair recommendations.
- Shop Maintenance: Help keep the shop floor, front counter, and workbench organized and clean.
Qualifications
- Solid hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing PC hardware (desktops & laptops) and troubleshooting Windows/macOS issues.
- Friendly, clear, and professional communication skills for customer interactions in person and over the phone.
- Comfortable working with a ticketing system and keeping accurate records.
- Self-starter who can manage time efficiently without constant supervision.
- Prior experience in a PC repair shop or bench-tech setting is a strong plus.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Structure: Base Productivity-based pay (earning potential up to $25.00/hour based on billable work and completed tickets).
- Job Type: [Full-Time or Part-Time] / In-Person at our shop location.
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
